Northfield Police Department will be hosting the rescheduled training sometime in April. Please watch for it.
This course is to gain factory certification as a Sage Instructor. It is also approved for 24 hours of MN POST Board continuing education credits. (these do easily transfer to WI and Dakota's.)
Day one: Classroom. Less-Lethal theory, munitions, launchers, patrol use, etc.
Day two: 1/2 day classroom. 1/2 day on the range. Supper break, and return for "low-light" shooting on the range.
Day three: Range demonstrating your instructing ability. (this should be a short day)

Cost, if paid by August 25th is $675. It will be $750 after that date.
We have two different MN POST Approved courses available for the Sage products.
1) A 4 hour "Familiarization Course" designed to give officers a brief introduction to the Sage launcher and some basic munitions information. This includes for use on patrol, or with a SWAT team.
2) Sage Ordinance Instructor Course. This is a full 24 hour/3-day course to certify officers as their department instructor. The course covers all models of launchers, all various rounds of munitions. Officers will learn details of the munitions, when to use, effectiveness, etc.
